  • Ahn, Maria and Lucia - (born August 30, 1972) - Twin sisters, who along with younger sister Angella, perform as the Ahn Trio. They blend classical music and popular music together, and were named to People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People list in 2003
  • Arlen, Harold - (born Feb. 15, 1905) - Prolific songwriter Harold Arlen (Over the Rainbow and other songs from The Wizard of Oz, Stormy Weather, Get Happy, It's Only a Paper Moon, Accentuate the Positive) is born along with his twin brother in Buffalo, New York. Harold's twin brother outweighed him by three pounds but would die a day later at which point his parents renamed the composer, giving him his twin's birth name, Hyman. Harold died in 1986 at age 81
  • Barrick, Teresa (Tyler) and Lisa - Teresa has been married to Aerosmith's Steven Tyler since 1988; she and Lisa design the band's clothes
  • Carter, Aaron and Angel - (born Dec. 7, 1987) - Aaron Carter is rising young music star and the twins are the younger brother and sister of Backstreet Boys' singer Nick Carter.

  • Chow, Alvin and Alan - World-reknown classical music performers who also now both teach music (most recently Oberlin and Northwestern Universities)
  • Cowsill, Bob and Dick - (born Aug. 26, 1949) - Twin brothers who were part of the singing Cowsill family, the inspiration for the TV Partridge Family and performers of the song Hair, which reached #2 on the Billboard Charts. They also did the theme to the TV show, Love American Style. Bob was a regular performer with the group although his twin brother just performed briefly on some reunion tours. Two other siblings died tragic deaths in 2005 as Barry Cowsill was a victim of Hurricane Katrina and lead singer Billy Cowsill died shortly before his brother's funeral
  • Deal, Kim and Kelley - (born Oct. 6, 1961) - Lead singers of alternative rock band, The Breeders
  • Del Rubio Triplets (born Aug., 1921) - Billed as the Del Rubio Triplets, Edith, Elena and Milly Boyd were performing sisters who made four CD's while also appearing on TV (Pee Wee's Playhouse, Married with Children) and cameoed in some movies (Twin Sitters). Milly celebrated her 85th birthday in 2006 while Eadie passed away in 1996 and Elena passed on in 2001
  • Farmer, Art and Addison - (born Aug. 21, 1928) - Art Farmer was a trumpeteer and band leader. He died in 1999. Addison plays the bass and died in 1963
  • Froman, Kurt and Kyle - (born March 11, 1976) - Identical twins who were former featured dancers with the New York City Ballet. Kurt starred on Broadway in the Billy Joel musical Movin Out and was cast in the movie musical Across the Universe
  • Garcia, David and Daniel - (born Oct. 25, 1976) - Rap Music/Authors known as Kane and Abel
  • Gibbs, Robin and Maurice - (born Dec. 22, 1949) - Two-thirds of the Superstar group, the Bee Gees, along with older brother, Barry (younger brother Andy Gibb also was successful singer and died at a young age). Maurice died suddenly on Jan. 12, 2003, after undergoing emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage and suffering a heart attack during his surgery. The Bee Gees are one of three music groups featuring twins to top the Billboard Pop Charts in the U.S., an acheivement they did nine times
  • Goss, Matt and Luke - (born Sept. 29, 1968) - Rose to fame as 2/3 of popular UK boys band, Bros, which had 11 top 40 singles in the UK in the 1980s and 1990s and hit #1 there with the song, I Owe You Nothing. Luke has since forged a successful film career, mostly in horror films (Blade 2, Hellboy 2, Silver Earth) and in theater, while Matt went on to a solo career and has been engaged to TV personality Daisy Fuentes for several years

  • Haden, Petra, Rachel and Tanya - (born Oct. 11, 1971) - Fraternal triplet sisters who are all musicians. Petra sings and plays violin and has played with such bands as Foo Fighters and Green Day. Rachel plays bass and has performed with Beck, while Tanya is a cellist and is married to actor Jack Black (School of Rock). Their father is jazz bassist Charlie Haden and their brother, Josh, also is a musician
  • Hall, Jerry and Terry - (born July 2, 1956) - Jerry Hall is a long-time model/actress best known for long marriage to Mick Jagger
  • Hölzel, Johann (Hans) - (born February 19, 1957, died February 6, 1998) - better known by his stage name of Falco, he was the only survivor of a triplet birth. He is best known in America for his song "Rock Me Amadeus". Falco died of severe injuries received following his collision with a bus in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. He is buried in Vienna, Austria
  • Irimia, Monica and Gabriela - (born Oct. 31, 1982) - Identical twin sisters (The Cheeky Girls) from Transylvania, Romania who burst upon the English pop scene in December, 2002 with their debut song The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum)
  • Jackson, Marlon and Brandon - (born March 12, 1957) - Marlon Jackson was one of the famous performing Jackson family and in the Jackson 5, his twin brother Brandon was stillborn. Marlon and Brandon were born a year after LaToya Jackson and a year before Michael Jackson. Another Jackson sibling (Randy, the youngest male, Janet is the youngest child overall) is also the dad of twins, Steven Randall Jr. and Donte
  • Kalin, Hal (Harold) and Herbie (Herbert) - (born Feb. 16, 1934) - The Kalin Twins had a #1 song in the UK (#5 in the U.S.) with the hit When. They remain the only twins who performed together with no other band members to ever reach #1 in the UK. Hal died in August, 2005 in a car accident and Herb passed away from a heart attack in July, 2006
  • Kaulitz, Bill and Tom - (born Sept. 1, 1989) - Bill is the lead vocalist and Tom does backup vocals and plays lead guitar for the German rock band, Tokio Hotel, which has had four #1 singles in their native country. Tom is 10 minutes older than Bill
  • Kay, Jay - Singer and front man for funk band Jamiroquai. Kay's identical twin died at birth
  • Kinley, Heather and Jennifer - (born Nov. 5, 1970) - County music performers, The Kinleys, who recorded the highest debut by a female country duo with their debut single, Please. Both are now the moms of two boys
  • Kowarsky, Dan and Ryan - (born Dec. 5, 1979) - Two-third of boy band B4-4. Released album titled "RyanDan" in 2007
  • Liberace, Walter - (born May 16, 1919) - Famous, flamboyant entertainer known strictly by his last name (Liberace) - twin died at birth. Liberace was matinee TV idol and among the best-selling pianists of all-time. He passed away on February 4, 1987 due to complications from AIDS
  • Lowenstein, Evan and Jaron - (born March 18, 1974) - Rock duo (known by first names Evan and Jaron) best known for hit song, Crazy for the Girl
  • Lynch, Keavy and Edele (Barrett)- (born Dec. 15, 1978 (or 79?)) - Irish twin sisters who were part of the girls band B'Witched which hit #1 on the UK charts with several songs in 1998, including C'Est La Vie (#9 in US charts). Edele is now married to MLB catcher Michael Barrett. Their brother Shane was member of popular Irish all-boys band Boyzone
  • Lynn, Peggy and Patsy - (born August 6, 1964) - Twin daughters of country legend Loretta Lynn and country performers themselves
  • Madden, Benji and Joel - (born March 11, 1979) - Lead singers/performers of band Good Charlotte. Released fourth album in 2007 and have had numerous top ten hits from each of their four releases
  • Mancini, Monica and Felice - Daughters born in 1952 to famous composer Henry Mancini (two-time Oscar winner perhaps best known for the Theme from Pink Panther movies). Monica is an established singer of her own with seveal albums to her credit
  • Melvoin, Wendy and Susannah - (born Jan. 26, 1961) - Wendy formerly played in Prince's Band (Purple Rain) and now has her own band (Wendy and Lisa). Her identical sister Susannah has appeared in some Prince videos. Their dad is a well known jazz musician and their late brother Jonathan was a member of the band, Smashing Pumpkins

  • Morissette, Alanis and Wade Imre - (born June 1, 1974) - Twin musicians from Canada. Alanis burst on the music scene with her phenomenally successful album in 1995, Jagged Little Pill (the 13th highest selling album of all-time). Her older brother (by 14 minutes) is also a musician, although his albums are inspired by yoga
  • Moutin, Francois and Louis - (born Dec. 24, 1961) - World-reknown jazz musicians who perform with two other musicians in the Moutin Reunion quartet. Francois is a bassist and Louis plays the drums. They were born in Paris
  • Nelson, Matthew and Gunnar - (born Sept. 20, 1967) - Twin sons of Ricky Nelson; grandsons of Ozzie Nelson; make up rock group Nelson which had the #1 hit I Can't Live Without Your Love and Affection in 1990
  • Panozzo, Chuck and John - (born Sept. 20, 1948) - Co-Founders of Rock Group, Styx. John died in Sept. 1996. Chuck is openly gay and has AIDS and is recovering from prostate cancer. Styx is one of three bands with twins (Bee Gees and Nelson) with a #1 pop hit, as the song Babe topped the U.S. charts in 1979
  • Parton, Floyd and Freida - (born June 1, 1957) - Younger siblings of country music superstar and actress Dolly Parton, Floyd Parton is a songwriter who wrote the 1991 #1 C/W song Rockin' Years and also was in his sister's movie Rhinestone, while Freida Parton is also a singer with at least one album to her credit, Two-Faced, released in 1984
  • Perrone, Tommy and Tony - Identical twin brothers who perform music under the name Gemini and also have their own record label, Twinworks
  • Presley, Elvis and Jesse - (born Jan. 8, 1935) - The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis was a music icon who was almost certainly one of the top-selling musicians of all-time alongside The Beatles, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson. Elvis died on August 16, 1977. Jesse was his stillborn twin and several of Elvis' movies featured twins
  • Quinn, Tegan and Sara - Canadian musicians performing by names of Tegan and Sara who were born in 1980. Their web site is teganandsara.com
  • Reid, Charlie and Craig - Twin musicians who are the lead singers for the rock group, The Proclaimers. Best known for the song (I would walk) 500 Miles, they have released four albums. They were born in 1962 in Leith, Scotland
  • Robbins, Marty and Mamie Minotto - (born Sept. 26, 1925) - Marty Robbins is a Country Music Hall of Fame performer who also was an accomplished actor, writer and race car driver before passing away at age 57 on Dec. 8, 1982. His twin sister Mamie passed away in March, 2004 but remembered the early life that she and her famous twin brother shared in a memoir entitled Some Memories - Growing Up with Marty Robbins
  • Scott, Clint, Dave and Bob - Triplets who form 3/4 of all Scott Brothers Canadian rock group, The Moffatts
  • Scott, Kimberly (Mathers) and Dawn - Kim was married twice to the rap singer, Eminem, divorcing him each time (1999-2001 and 2006). Dawn is Kim's twin sister
  • Sherwood, Trish and Toni - Canadian pop duo (11:30) who had success with single, Ole Ole
  • Thompson, Chris and Meredith - (born May 28, 1974) - Acoustic folk music group who perform as The Thompsons. Chris plays guitar and sings and Meredith plays flute and sings. They have released 5 CDs and have toured throughout the US. Their website is www.cmthompson.com
  • Timberlake, Justin - (born Jan. 31, 1981) - Popular member of band N'Sync, and also a solo performer and actor. Also well-known for his on-again, off-again relationship with Britney Spears and other actresses. Twin sister Laura died at birth
  • Trenier, Claude and Cliff - (born July 14, 1919) - Co-founders of pioneer black family singing group, The Treniers. Appeared in movie The Girl Can't Help It. Cliff died in 1983
  • Williams, Andy and David - Twin nephews of singer Andy Williams who have experienced moderate success of their own in the music world. They first appeared on a Patridge Family TV episode, leading to some teenage success in the 70's. They still perform together and also as stage musicians for other artists. They were born in 1960
  • Young, Will and Rupert - (born Jan. 20, 1979) - Will won the first season of British TV show Pop Idol
  • Good, Brian and Bruce. 2/3 of Canadian country much band The Good Brothers (with younger brother Larry) They won 8 consecutive Juno Awards for Canadian Country Group of the Year from 1976-1983 and were inducted into the Canadian Country Hall of Fame in 2004. Formed as a band in 1974 they are still touring in 2007.
